The song was released on Friday, January 13, 2017, on digital outlets. According to the artiste, the record denounces the attempts of the ruling class to oppress minorities, whether physically or mentally. Reggae artiste Ras Slick has released a music video medley for singles ‘Your Love’ and ‘Hold On Me.’ Your Love is featured on Ras Slick’s EP titled Help. The remix version of Hold On Me, which features Grammy-nominated reggae artiste Jah Cure, is also on the EP. The music video was directed by A-Roll Productions and showcases the ups and downs of being in love.
