Reggae singer Ras Slick has collaborated with Jah Cure for a single called Hold On Me. The single is being promoted as a summer song and was released last Tuesday on iTunes.

Hold On Me is already receiving favourable radio play on commercial and online channels. The song marks the first collaboration between Jah Cure and Ras Slick and is also a remix of Ras Slick’s single Toll On Me, which appeared on his recently released HELP EP.

Hold On Me sees the artistes chanting their verses over a roots reggae instrumental, and according to Ras Slick, after being a fan of Jah Cure for several years, the collaboration is a dream come true.

“I was extremely humbled and honoured to do a song with international recording artiste Jah Cure … I rate his incredible style and massive music catalogue to the max,” Ras Slick said. “Not everyone is afforded such an opportunity, so I decided to maximise it. One would have never thought that an impromptu meeting in Jamaica would lead to the collaboration … this is a love song, straight from the heart.”

Jah Cure his known for his popular slew of hits including Longing For, Reflection, and Unconditional Love among others. Jah Cure has also collaborated with international stars like Rick Ross, Phyllisia and Jazmine Sullivan.

Ras Slick is no stranger to music and entertainment. The singer held an entertainment management position at RIU hotels in Jamaica for awhile before deciding to focus on his development as a commercial recording artiste.
