Ras Slick makes time for talent

Jamaica Observer, March 4, 2016

Singer Ras Slick recently opened his recording studio, My Time, in Silver Spring, Maryland. Its main objective is to harness local talent.

The reggae artiste, who is known for songs including Good Things, told Splash that, “This is a professional facility that will enable artistes of all music genres in the greater metropolitan Washington DC area to have that personalised recording experience. It’s a recording studio, but we also offer engineering, mixing/mastering services, CD duplication, voice, drums, keyboard and guitar lessons, among other services.”

Ras Slick is currently promoting two singles: Humanity and Good Thing. The latter is from his recently released EP Help.

Originally from Westmoreland, Ras Slick relocated to Maryland four years ago. He is a former entertainment manager at the RIU Hotel in Negril.
