Ras Slick Shoots Video for ‘Thank You Jah Jah’

Press Release, August 28, 2014

U.S based reggae singer Ras Slick is continuing his visual promotions campaign with yet another new video, this time for his single “Thank You Jah Jah.”

The new video was directed by the multifaceted singer who traveled to Negril, Jamaica to capture visuals over a 7 day period. “Well right now we’re looking to keep the videos coming. I recently bought a camera as an investment to ensure I can always shoot my performances and music videos. This is what we’re doing right now—building the fan base and gearing up to release my ‘Higher Level’ mix tape, which was mixed by Lion Vibes International Sound,” stated Slick.

The video, which is currently in the final stages of editing is slated to be released in early September but for now Slick explained his current catalog of songs are gaining momentum. “Right now I’m promoting songs like ‘31’ which is a song for the ladies. We have other tracks like ‘This Place’ as well as the most recent ‘My Time’ for which a video is now out.”

In 2013 Ras Slick got his break when he was featured on the chart topping First Capital Riddim by Armz House Records with the single ‘Dreaming.’ “That song opened a lot of doors for me. It received good airplay at the time and when I did the video it was well received both in Jamaica and here in the DMV.”
