Overseas-based Jamaican reggae singer Ras Slick was recently featured on the internationally renowned US media outlet Fox News.
The artiste, who migrated to the US in 2011, says his career has taken a turn for the better since leaving the island.
Ras Slick appeared on Fox News during the popular programme, Will You Eat There?, along with iconic Fox News anchor Will Thomas.
The artiste, who recently released an EP called HELP, says his stint on the station has popularised his EP.
Ras Slick is gradually making a name for himself in the US as a respected brand. He also told The Weekend STAR that he is humbled by the opportunities that have been flowing in his direction in the US.
HELP has been receiving positive rotation on Washington DC-based radio stations.

Ras Slick recently performed at the historical Howard theatre, and has already committed to several touring dates in the US.
He is also co-producing an event called ‘Reggae Rocks Potomac Spirit of Mt. Vernon Boatride’, scheduled for June 6, 2015.
